City Administrator Ulrich noted that there will not be a meeting on December 2, 2008 due to the Truth and Taxation meeting on December 1, 2008. He stated that they are proposing no second meeting in December. Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to cancel the second Council meeting in December and have Mayor Gamec come to the City Hall on the last business day of the year to sign anything necessary. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Strommen, Dehen, and Look. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey and Olson. Case #10: Review Proposed Settlement Agreement Re: City of Ramsey Vs. TJWB, LLC, a Minnesota Limited Liability Company, d.b.a. Ralph's Gun & Pawn, District Court File No. 02-CV-08-8385 City Attorney Goodrich suggested that the meeting move into a closed session. Motion by .Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Dehen to move into closed session. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Look, Dehen, Elvig, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey and Olson. The open session closed at 10:38 p.m. The closed session ended at 10:49 p.m. Mayor Gamec stated for the viewing audience that the Council had been in a closed session regarding Case #10. City Attorney Goodrich stated that the Council has approved a settlement discussed in court on November 19, 2008. He stated that the terms are available, if anyone is interested, by contacting the City. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Look, Dehen, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmembers Jeffrey and Olson. Motion carried.
