CASE #10: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Amending City's Financing Policy <br />Relating to Sealcoating Projects <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Peterson, Seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer, to adopt Ordinance #91-5 Amendment to Chapter 4 which is <br />known as the Public Facilities and Improvements Chapter of the City <br />Code, sealcoatlng projects. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers <br />Hardin, Peterson, Beyer, Clch. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CASE #11: Staff and Council Workshop <br /> <br />Mrs. Helling asked if the City Council wishes to hold another <br />workshop prior to this summer. There are a number of issues that <br />can be addressed. <br /> <br />After discussion, it was agreed to tentatively set the workshop for <br />Saturday, June 1, hoping the City Administrator would be on board <br />by that time. <br /> <br />CASE #12: <br /> <br />Discussion of the Resolution Received from the Saint <br />Paul City Council <br /> <br />Mrs. Hetilng recommended the Item be tabled to the next Council <br />meeting to allow the Councilmembers time to review the information <br />presented. The St. Paul City Council is asking for the City's <br />support and help in urging Governor Carlson to request the <br />Legislature to constitutionally dedicate one-third of the State's <br />sales tax to provide property tax relief for local property <br />taxpayers. She wanted to research how the Income from sales tax is <br />currently used and how it is being allocated. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Peterson, Seconded by Beyer, that we <br />table action on this until the next regular meeting or special <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes~ Mayor Gllbertson, Councilmembers <br />Hardin, Peterson, Beyer, Cich. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1.
