The Planning Commission recommends approval of
the plat and waiving the requirement for paving 177th within the
boundaries of the plat.

Mr. Jankowski reviewed the lot configuration of the area which is
currently in ownership by two owners. It consists of three lots,
the third one being landlocked. He expects the developer to come
back with 177th as a street that will be extended to the east at
some time in the future. The City will be requiring the developer
to extend It at least a distance of 266 feet so that the future
owners of Lots 2 and 3 can extend that road mutually exclusive of
each other. Normally the developer would be expected to upgrade
the street to a hard surface pavement. In this situation, the
person to the south would benefit greatly from Mr. Bauer paving the
road without having to pay anything toward lt.

CITY COUNCIL/APRIL 9, 1991
