MOTION by Councllmember Paterson, Seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer, to table this until Mayor Gllbertson, Sandra Ashley <br />Helllng, Mr. Jankowski, and Mr. Otto can meet with Mr. Rychner. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers <br />Hardin, Peterson, Beyer and Clch. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Introduce Ordinance Requiring that Adult Uses be <br />Licensed <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich reported he has discussed this with Police Chief <br />Michael Auspos, who has found additional information to Include in <br />this ordinance. He requested the item be tabled until he can <br />present it again. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councllmember Clch, Seconded by Councllmember Beyer, <br />to so move. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Giibertson, Councilmembers <br />Hardin, Peterson, Bayer and Cich. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Status Regarding Landfill Royalty Payments <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich explained this item Is a part of the discussion <br />which wi]] be held in Executive Session regarding the potential of <br />bringing action against Waste Management. He recommended the item <br />be moved to the Executive Session. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councllmember Cich, Seconded by Councllmember Beyer, <br />to so move. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Recycling Report on Tonnages and Comparisons to Other <br />Cities <br /> <br />Mr. JankowskI summarized the report which was presented in the <br />Council's Agenda material to update the Council on the City's <br />Recyllng Program. The City has met the goals set by Anoka County <br />for 19gO, which must be done In order to receive the SCORE funding <br />for landfill abatement activities. He anticipated the goals for <br />1991 will also be met or exceeded. Mr. JankowskI also noted the <br />number of complaints on the City's Curbside Recycling Program has <br />decreased. The level of participation is between 50 to 60 percent <br />of the possible curbside pickups, but that does not account for <br />households that put material out only once a month. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL/APRIL 9, 1991 <br /> Page 7 of I1 <br /> <br /> <br />
