<br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANORA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission conducted a regular meeting on November 13, <br />2008, at City Hall Council Chambers, 7550 Sunwood Drive N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Commission Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Jill Johns <br />Commissioner Amber Erickson <br />Commissioner Randy Backous <br />Commissioner Bridget Barr <br />Commissioner Steven Hansen <br />Commissioner Melody Shryock <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Tom LaMere <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor, Mark Riverblood <br />Civil Engineer II, Leonard Linton <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns called the Park and Recreation Commission meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shryock, seconded by Commissioner Erickson to approve the Park and <br />Recreation Commission meeting agenda for the meeting dated November 13,2008 as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Erickson, Backous, Barr, <br />Hansen, and Shryock. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner LaMere. <br /> <br />APPROVE MINUTES <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock suggested a few grammatical corrections on page three, under case two, <br />line eight, "...clear benefits for having those fences on the field," the word there should be their. <br />Under the response from Parks Supervisor Riverblood it should state that he did not measure the <br />actual area. She suggested a change on page five, the second paragraph, and thought it should <br />state, "... with parks among youth associations." She also thought when speaking about the <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission/November 13,2008 <br />Page 1 of 11 <br />
