Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson and Beyer. Voting <br />No: CouncilmemberHardin. Absent: Councilmember Cich. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin inquired if Mr. Rychner's business is considered compatible with the <br />existing or future uses under the new zoning ordinance and if the area should be rezoned to I-1 <br />Industrial. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated that when the area was rezoned to B-W, the City tried to do so <br />without making existing uses non-conforming. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated there will be more requests for zoning changes and that maybe the <br />City will have to amend the B-W District. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson stated it may be better to fill out this area with conditional use permits for heavy <br />industrial activities versus decreasing the amount of B-W zoning the City has indicated to the <br />courts would be available for adult uses. <br /> <br />In discussing the terms for any exterior storage or preparation of feedstock not to be conducted <br />within the building, Staff was directed to retrieve the language for that same issue from the file of <br />Danny's Aluminum Processing. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson recessed the meeting at 9:31 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the meeting back to order at 9:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to amend #40 to <br />read "may adversely impair the future use". <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin and Peterson. Voting <br />No: Councilmember Beyer. Absent: Councilmember Cich. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to amend #41 to read <br />"will not". <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer and Peterson. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cich. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to delete #42. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Peterson m~d Beyer. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cich. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to amend #43 to read <br />"...of the B/W zoning district but is allowed as a conditional use activity. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer and Hardin. <br />Voting No: None.
