Absent: Councilmember Peterson. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />Ms. McAloney reported that the Personnel Committee had met on May 28, 1991 and discussed the <br />position of the Patrol Officer for the Police Department. The Personnel Committee agreed with the <br />Budget Committee's recommendation to fill that position by approximately September 1, 1991. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />recommendations of the Personnel and Budget Committees to fill the position of Patrol Officer and <br />direct staff to proceed with advertising for the position. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer and Cich. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberPeterson. <br /> <br />Ms. McAloney stated that with regard to the Public Works Maintenance Worker, the Budget <br />Committee approved the request to fill that position and recommended that to the Personnel <br />Committee at their May 28, 1991 meeting. The Personnel Committee agreed with the <br />recommendation to fill the position approximately July 1, 1991.
