<br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Vacating Easement at 5939 - 151st Lane NW; Case of Mr. <br />Steven Crouteau <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that in order to help speed up the process for Mr. Crouteau, this issue was <br />moved to the Special Meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adopt Ordinance #08- <br />16 to vacate a portion of the drainage and utility easements on Lot 1 Block 1 Haubrich Addition. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Look: <br />Councilmember Dehen: <br />Councilmember Olson: <br />Councilmember Strommen: <br />Councilmember Elvig: <br />Councilmember Jeffrey: <br />Mayor Gamec: <br /> <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Absent <br />Absent <br />, Aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Request for Final Plat Review of Ebony Woods; Case of Tim Holm <br /> <br />Management Intern Gladhill stated that a proposed covenant for Ebony Woods was being passed <br />around to the Council, but it does not include architectural renderings. He stated that Tim and <br />Nancy Holm are present to answer questions the Council may have. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that the Council's issues are they want to get away from cookie- <br />cutter-type floor plans and asked if Mr. Holm intended for them to be the same. He stated that <br />the City would like to see some alteration of the structures that gp in. <br /> <br />Mr. Holm stated that they are just splitting the lots now, not developing or building. He stated <br />that he has no problem with putting restrictions or different colors and setbacks in the covenant. <br />He stated that the floor plan included in the Council information was just one that the surveyor <br />put in to show the amQunt of lot coverage there would be. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that the Council is more interested in what the outside of the homes will <br />look like. <br /> <br />Mr. Holm stated that it would be up to the landowner and what home they decide to build. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen stated that this addresses her concerns because the chance of three <br />landowners choosing the same builder and same house plan are next to none. <br /> <br />Special City Council Meeting /June 17,2008 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
