sewer be complete so the connection can be made this Fall? Thus
avoiding water problems as portrayed in the pictures. The water
flowing through the properties is not the problem as much as not
having an outlet. What recourse do the residents of Hunters Hill have
in the event the problems are not solved?

2. The connection of 144th between Cedar Hills and Hunters Hill as
an access west to Sunfish Lake Boulevard.

We have submitted a petition requesting the road be a cul-de-sac in
Hunters Hill and Cedar Hills. Stating excessive traffic, traffic
hazards, congestion, nuisance and safety along with road bed
tolerance. With additional concern being where 144th Avenue turns
into 144th Lane, that large vehicles cannot make the turn
effectively. The garbage truck has to back up to make the turn.
What advantage is this to emergency vehicles or a school bus?

At past Meeting we had been assured that this road would not be
used for construction purposes. However, the road is being used by
the construction workers daily. The construction trailer is parked
directly on the 144th Cul-de-sac on Cedar Hills side. Also, heavy
equipment has been brought into the site via 144th Lane. One
truck/trailer (flat bed) was observed backing out of 144th Lane
because he could not turn around and successfuly negotiate the
corner of 144th Lane and 144th Avenue. Planning and Zoning
recommend that 144th NOT be connected into Cedar Hills.

Our interest in Cedar Hills and its impact on Hunters Hill has been
since the beginning. Planning and Zoning and City Council Meeting
Minutes will bear out our attendance and concerns.

The project has been in the process for several years. We do not
know when it changed owers from Wally Anderson and John Peterson
to M. G. Astleford. Or when its development was actively pursued by
the new owner. We would like information as to how the plat differs
from first proposed to is present layout. Depending upon the
differences, should there have been an additional Public Hearing?

We appreciate the response we have received from the City Staff to
the problem and with their vists to the site in question.
Steve Jankowski on Friday, October 4, 1991 and Ryan Schroeder
today, October 8, 1991.
