Councilmember . introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RI} RESOLUTION #09- 01 -XXX RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08 -31 - THE BITUMINOUS PAVING OF CHAMELEON STREET IN THE SHAWN A R CATIONS SUBDIVISION AND ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND S C WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council on May 27, 2008 , a feasibility study has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, Improvement Project #08 -31 - The Bituminous Paving of Chameleon Street in The Shawn Acres Subdivision; and WHEREAS, a resolution of City Council adopted on Octoberl4, 2008 fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement; an d WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the public hearing was held thereon on the 10th day of November, 2008, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the improvement is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility study report. 2) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in this council resolution. 3) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. 4) That the engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
