2. The remainder of a yard may be established with sod, seed, natural <br />ground cover and/or native grasses and wildflowers. Noxious weeds <br />do not constitute allowable ground cover. <br />3. A landscape escrow, in an amount to be determined by the Building <br />Official, shall be deposited for all required . landscaping, including <br />topsoil, sod and trees, which is not established at the time of issuance <br />of the Certificate of Occupancy. Installation of required landscaping, <br />including topsoil, sod (or seeding where permitted by City Code) and <br />trees, shall be completed within six (6) months of the issuance of the <br />Certificate of Occupancy, weather permitting. The City may draw <br />upon the landscaping escrow to install landscaping if said work is not <br />completed within six (6) months of the issuance of the Certificate of <br />Occupancy. <br />Subsection 9.20.11 Subdivision 7 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Subd. 7. General R -1 Residential Performance Standards (also refer to <br />Subsection 9.11.01 for general requirements). <br />The following language in Subsection 9.20.11, Subdivision 7 c. is hereby repealed: <br />Subsection 9.20.12 Subdivision 5 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Subd. 5. General R -2 Residential Performance Standards (also refer to <br />Subsection 9.11.01 for general requirements). <br />The following language in Subsection 9.20.12 Subdivision 5 f. is hereby repealed: <br />5. Grading. Final slope grades shall not exceed 3.5:1 unless terracing of <br />retaining walls are approved. Berming for parking lots and open space <br />areas shall not exceed a slope of 3:1. <br />6. Required Ground Cover. In the R -2 Residential District, all areas not <br />otherwise improved in accordance with approved site plans shall be <br />— <br />4. Grading.
