This consideration was based on the
following statement from the Consent List which was adopted by the Council:

This plan amendment proposes 1) to revise the city's 1990 Urban Area by
deleting 160 acres of residentially-zoned land and adding approximately 120
acres of industrially-zoned land; and 2) to amend the public utilities
construction schedule to extend sanitary sewer and municipal water in 1986
to the industrial area at Co. Rd. 116 and Sunfish Lake Blvd. The Ramsey
amendment is in conformity with metropolitan system plans, consistent with
other chapters of the Metropolitan Development Guide and compatible with
the plans of adjacent communities. The city should inform the Metropolitan
Waste Control Commission of the timing change.

The Council approved this staff report as its comments on the plan amendment.

Sincerely,

_C~~G~~~

~ S.
