Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF THE PART -TIME BUILDING <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO CONTINUE <br />RECRUITMENT PROCESS <br />WHEREAS, in October 2008 the City hired Steve Paquette as a part-time <br />Building Maintenance Worker, and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Paquette resigned effective January 12, 2009, and <br />WHEREAS, there continues to be a need for this position based on the attached <br />Needs Assessment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />Accept Steven Paquette's resignation and authorize staff to continue the fall 2008 <br />recruitment process to fill the vacancy in the Building Maintenance Division. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 27 day of January 2009. <br />
