Continuing with the previous recruitment process will save <br />the time and money associated with conducting a new recruitment process. <br />Funding Source <br />In late 2008, the City cancelled its cleaning contract and the City Council authorized the <br />creation of a new part-time regular Building Maintenance Worker position. Cancelling <br />the cleaning contract ($39,000) and hiring a part -time regular Building Maintenance <br />Worker ($23,000, including applicable taxes, benefits and insurance) will result in a <br />$16,000 savings for 2009.
