Public Notice <br /> <br />..Ramsey Wants You.. <br />Get Involved: Serve as an Advisor to the City Council <br /> <br />The city of Ramsey is looking for <br />residents who are interested in par- <br />ticipating in the governance of their <br />community by serving as a board or <br />commission member on one of its Ad- <br />visory Commissions. The purpose of <br />an advisory commission is to make <br />specific recommendations to the City <br />Council on current issues facing the <br />city. <br />New members will begin serving <br />in JaIlUary 2009 aIld terms typically <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />last four years, with some exceptions. <br />Meetings are held once per month at <br />the RaInsey Municipal Center. Ramsey, MN <br />55303. <br /> <br />Panther Precision Machine <br />Continues to Grow! <br /> <br /> <br />Panther Precision <br />Machine has been a <br />proud member of the <br />RaInsey Business Com- <br />munitv since 2001. PaIl- <br />ther made a bold move <br />by deciding to construct <br />a 26,000 SF building in <br />Ramsey aIld to move from <br />its 14.000 SF leased space in Fridley. <br />Tom Olson aIld Chris Miller. owners <br />of Panther Precision Machine, have <br />seen their COmpaI1Y grow from 3 em- <br />ployees in 1998 to over 33 as of today. <br />Panther added 15.000 SF to its initial <br />project in 2006 aIld now is construct- <br />ing another 26,000 SF on the adjacent <br />lot to the east. The new building will <br />house more manufacturing for PaIlther <br />as well as space for Dynamic Rigging. <br />This joint venture will enable both <br />businesses to grow aIld to create more <br />potential jobs for Ramsey residents. <br />Panther Precision Machine is con- <br /> <br />sidered a premier precision machine <br />job shop specializing in large CNC <br />Machining, aIld Contract Manufactur- <br />ing. The business typically maIlUfac- <br />tures palis in small qUaIltities that are <br />custom made for its customers but has <br />the ability to do larger qUaIltity jobs as <br />well. Panther has some of the largest <br />machines in the Twin Cities to halldle <br />the largest of palis.
