<br />Councilmember Strommen stated that on the page Mr. Hunt mentioned, there is a map from the <br />2001 Comprehensive Plan. She stated that she thinks there are some revisions that have been <br />made since then and this should be updated. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated that the old map will be removed. <br /> <br />Kim Slocka 1730 - 175th Avenue NW, stated that she and her neighbors were just notified about <br />the changes on their street. She stated that she spoke with staff and asked. about the lines and <br />how they were determined. She stated that staff recommended that they come and express their <br />opinions to the Council. She stated that the low density butts up against her property and they <br />are asking that they be included in low density because when you look at the map it makes more <br />sense. ' <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked if that created any problems <br /> <br />Community Development Director Miller stated that it would not create any problems and noted <br />the lines were created by the public at the planning meeting. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill suggested that these are specifically noted in the motion tonight, as <br />well as the changes submitted in the packet. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig suggested that this go even further to the west to make a more cohesive <br />map. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Miller stated that those property owners have not been <br />notified. <br /> <br />Mark Yo, 7250 -175th Avenue NW, stated that he is just west of Ms. Slocka and noted that he <br />has signatures from the neighbors requesting to be included in the low-density housing. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill suggested that staff work with these specific residents to work this <br />out. . <br /> <br />Dennis Peck, 49431 Alpine Ave, Stanchfield, MN, stated that he is one of the owners of <br />Northfork and there are four small parcels that have not been developed and two of them have <br />been placed in MUSA. He stated that they would like to allow them to be developed as the rest <br />of the development was. He stated that Public Works Director Olson has indicated to him that <br />there are no engineering concerns with this change. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that he would like to move this along, but wonders how this can be <br />facilitated looking at time. He asked if this is something that the Council can get more <br />comments to staff before this mOves forward, such as Councilmember Strommen's comments. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen stated that she would be more comfortable seeing a revised draft, <br />which she realizes puts us in a time crunch, before this is sent out.
