<br />Mayor Gamec suggested that he work with Associate Planner Gladhill to look at the notes and <br />information. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill read aloud a section from page 5-18 on whether it is developable or <br />not. <br /> <br />Mr. Hunt stated that he is just saying it is classified too high. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that he thinks Mr. Hunt is asking for an answer and feels the City <br />should look into it and provide him with an answer and our reasons. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated that he would get this information and communicate with Mr. <br />Hunt. <br /> <br />Phil Carlson, Bonestroo and Associates, stated that it was one of his colleagues that did the <br />Natural Resources Inventory, so he will also work with Associate Planner Gladhill to get this <br />information. He stated that there are several steps that would need to happen before there is any <br />sort of binding effect on the property. He stated that there is also still a several month period <br />where there can be additional discussion on this issue. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill noted that he distributed a memo to the Council that showed some <br />l1iinor revisions in the Comprehensive Plan before it goes for agency review. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen stated that she wanted to thank staff and Mr. Carlson for working <br />with her on her comments. She stated that she still suggests a map be included. She reviewed a <br />few minor things that she found. On page 13-13, there is still a header that says 2001 <br />Comprehensive Plan, on page 5-3, letter F, quasi is spelled wrong and on page 1-1, letter C, <br />Comprehensive Plan is spelled Comprehensive Pan. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig asked about the Boy Scout Camp designation as Park. He stated that this <br />is private land not owned by the City, so it is not a park. He asked if there was another <br />designation this could get. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated that this could be public/quasi public and recommended it be <br />added to the motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to authorize the distribution of <br />the draft 2008 Comprehensive Plan Update, with the changes in the memo dated December 9, <br />2008, from Associate Planner Gladhill, that the Boy Scout Camp be changed to public/quasi <br />public and that staffwill review with Mr. Hunt the NRI designation of his property. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Associate Platmer Gladhill stated that he would also like the property <br />mentioned eat'lier at 7404 149th Avenue, to be included. . <br /> <br />City Council / December 9, 2008 <br />Page 10 of17 <br /> <br />P42 <br />
