The City received 29 applications, inCluding six from <br />incumbents who are seeking reappointment. The following advisory groups will have <br />vacancies as of March 31, 2009: <br /> <br />Environmental Policy Board-2 <br />Park and Recreation Commission-2 <br />Planning Commission-2 <br />Economic Development Authority-l <br />Public Safety Board-l (dissolution pending) <br /> <br />The newly revised Policy for Appointing Board and Commission Members states that the <br />evaluation panel will be used only when the number of applicants for a vacancy exceeds <br />five. Therefore, at the March 3, 2009 Work Session, the City Council will discuss <br />applications and select five applicants to be interviewed by the full City Council for each <br />vacancy. <br /> <br />Interviews <br />"'-. <br />Once applicants have been selected to advance, interviews will be conducted. I propose <br />one or two of the following dates for interviews, which have traditionally been 1 0 <br />minutes per person. <br /> <br />. Wednesday, March 11, 5: 15pm - until <br />.
