public, meeting preparation time, vacation, holidays, etc. He stated that the City can consider <br />starting to bill some of the other staff members' time to projects; thereby, picking up some <br />revenue. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson inquired of Mr. Jankowski if he would be doing things that would <br />generate revenue if he wasn't at meetings. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski replied yes, however, he stated he can only bill hours that are demanded of him. <br />He added that if the organizational structure on paper had been in place, he would have been able to <br />bill out more of his time. At this point, he is also supervising the Public Works Department and <br />the Community Development Department. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated maybe both Ms. Frolik and Mr. Jankowski wouldn't have to <br />attend the Planning and Zoning Commission meetings. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding charging projects for staff time. <br /> <br />Mrs. Helling stated that the expenditures need to be reviewed and fees and charges must be <br />defined. <br /> <br />Upon mention of Hakanson Anderson, Councilmember Beyer stated that City Council had not <br />approved Hakanson Anderson to work for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE INPUT <br /> <br />A Budget Committee meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, 1991 at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the Budget <br />Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer and Hardin.
