It was discussed that the land for Central Park was a gift from Federal Cartridge and that there is <br />nothing in the park recognizing them for this. It was stated that it would be a good idea to have a <br />plaque or something on that order installed to acknowledge this gift. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos stated that the Park and Recreation Commission is choosing a park a month and inviting <br />near by residents to offer their input. <br /> <br />Case #3: Presentation by Claudia Dodge Regarding Community School <br /> Program for 1992 <br /> <br />Mrs. Helling stated that Mr. Steve Kerr had called before the meeting to state that Claudia Dodge <br />would not be present. <br /> <br />The discussion revealed that the Budget Committee is interested in the statistics for each class <br />attendance, whether or not there should be more emphasis on adult classes or should the focus be <br />on the children's classes, the amount of money the City wants to budget for Community Education <br />and what the City wants from the program. <br /> <br />Mrs. Helling will be getting more information from Ms. Dodge regarding the program. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the Budget <br />Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Peterson, Hardin and Beyer.
