Case #2: Agent of Record Bids <br /> <br />Personnel Coordinator McAloney stated that the Agent of Record's term expires on December 14, <br />1991 and the City has received two proposals for Insurance Agent of Record; one from the City's <br />current agent Mr. Michael Hadtrath of Hadtrath & Associates, and the other one from Mr. Conway <br />Olson of T.C.Fields. <br /> <br />Mr. Olson informed the Committee of his experience and offered background information on <br />himself and his company. <br /> <br />The Budget Committee proceeded to interview Mr. Olson. <br /> <br />No recommendations were made as Mr. Hadtrath was not able to attend this meeting. A decision <br />will be made after Mr. Hadu'ath is interviewed at the October 22, 1991 Budget Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Case #3: Discussion Regarding 1992 and Beyond Goals for the City of <br /> Ramsey <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that he has drafted a goals list with the intent of presenting <br />them to Council to see if Council is in agreement with the list of goals and the prioritizing of them. <br />He suggested inviting the public to an informal workshop to ask for their input regarding these <br />goals also. <br /> <br />The Budget Committee agreed the public should be invited for input on the goals for the City and <br />tentatively scheduled a workshop meeting for November 23, 1991. The Ramsey Resident will <br />carry information regarding the workshop and invite the public to attend. This case will be <br />discussed further under Mayor and Council Input on tonight's Council agenda. <br /> <br />Case #4: Community Education <br /> <br />Finance Officer Helling handed out a case sheet with information pertaining to the funding of the <br />Community Education Coordinator and also the Assistant. She asked that the Budget Committee <br />review the information prior to the October 22, 1991 meeting to be able to provide direction to the <br />school district with regard to the desired staffing level for Ramsey's Community Education <br />program. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer and Hardin.
