<br />Ms. Skepper stated that she believes it is over $800,000. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig asked who owns the property. <br /> <br />Ms. Skepper stated that the County owns the property. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that he doesn't see that there is an equal status between the City and <br />the County because it is the County's project and the County's exposure. . <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to authorize Resolution <br />#09-02-043, related to the issuance of refunding bonds by the Anoka County HRA for the <br />Savannah Oaks Senior Housing Project and authorizing an amendment to the Joint Powers <br />Agreement and Operating Deficit Agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Jeffrey, Dehen, McGlone, <br />and Wise. Voting No: Councilmember Look. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Authorize Request for Proposals (RFP) for Legal Services <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated that the RFP for legal services is ready for Council <br />authorization. She reviewed some of the issues included in the RFP that the Council requested at <br />a recent Work Session. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey asked if the response time in the RFP was the current turn around time <br />with the City Attorney. Goodrich. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated that the feedback is that this is a desire of the Council <br />to get that kind of turn around. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that for the benefit of the viewers at home, he explained that the <br />City is going out for RFPs to look at legal services, not because the City is disappointed in what <br />it has now, but from a cost perspective. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to authorize the Request <br />for Proposals for Legal Services for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Look, Dehen, Jeffrey, <br />McGlone, and Wise.
