<br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Execute Agreement Re Lot 1, Block 1, West Ramsey Industrial Park <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich distributed information regarding the agreement for Lot 1, Block 1, <br />West Ramsey Industrial Park. He noted that in 2002, the City entered a development agreement <br />for West Ramsey Park. He stated that the property is being sold. The property does not have <br />. sewer and water so they are asking the Council to recognize that the development agreement has <br />been satisfied and to authorize the City Administrator and the City Attorney to execute this <br />purchase agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen asked why this issue is coming about now. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that it is basically a title clearance issue. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that commercial properties in a development need to hook up with <br />sewer and water within two years, but not residential. <br /> <br />Councilmember Look asked if City sewer and water are there yet. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that it is not there yet and asked Public Works Director Olson to <br />answer this question in greater detail. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson stated that there is no sewer and water, nor are there plans to <br />extend it to the neighborhood. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that the requirement is that two years after sewer and water are <br />available they are required to hook up. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to Authorize the Mayor <br />and city Administrator to sign on behalf of the City an agreement confirming that the terms of a <br />development agreement dated May 3, 2002, relating to Lot 1, Block 1, West Ramsey Industrial <br />Park have been fulfilled. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Dehen, Jeffrey, Look, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Rescheduling Work Session <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey stated that staff has requested that the Council conduct their work session after <br />the Council meeting since there wasn't time earlier tonight. <br /> <br />Councilmember Look stated that Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan asked that Case <br />#3 be postponed. <br /> <br />City Council/ February 10,2009 <br />Page 7of8 <br />
