c~r~. <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #09-03-XXX <br />RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 08-32 (ANDRIE STREET & 164TH LANE IMPROVEMENTS) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted on May 13, 2008 in <br />response to a petition, a feasibility report for street improvements to Andrie Street and 164th Lane in the <br />Northfork Subdivision has been received, having been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer; and, <br />WHEREAS,. the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #08-11-218 on November 25, 2008, <br />fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement. <br />WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, <br />and the hearing was held on January 13, 2009, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given <br />an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the time available for the receipt of a petition opposing the project has expired; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 8.4.1 of the City Charter states that the project may not be ordered for 60 <br />days from the close, of the: public hearing. _ <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That.the improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility study <br />report. <br />2) That the improvement is hereby ordered as propose:: _. ~:is Council Resolution adopted Mardi <br />24, 2009. <br />3) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />where upon said resolution was declaxed duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the <br />24th day of March 2009. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION #09-03-~:XX <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />_g~_ <br />
