Case #3 1992 and 5 Year Park and Recreation Caoital lmnrovement Program (C.I.P3 The Commission proceeded to review the proposed 6 Year Park and Recreation Capital Improvement Program. (C.I.P.). Mr. Boos told the Commission that a group affiliated with the Lutheran Brotherhood were interested in donating players benches for Rivers Bend Park softball field. While reviewing that part of the proposed budget pertaining to Rabbit Park, the consensus of the Commission was to move the 4 place swing including timbers to 1993 and to move Phase II tot lot expansion to 1994. Regarding Central Park, Chairman Hetland suggested moving the 6 place swing including timbers, on-demand lighting, security light and landscaping for sliding hill be moved from 1993 to 1992; and backstop extensions fields 1, 2, 3 and 4 be moved from 1994 to 1993. Chairman Hetland suggested asking the City Council for a set budget for each year with the ability to roll over any unused funds to the following year. The consensus of the Commission was to submit the 1992 and 5 Year Park and Recreation Capital Improvement Program (C.I.P.), with the changes agreed upon, to City Council for approval and to request a set budget amount for each year after 1992 with the ability to roll over funds. COMMISSION INPUT Mark Boos stated that the Planning and Zoning Commission has requested the Park and Recreation Commission consider divesting City ownership of Lot 9, Block 2, Windsorwood Addition and using the proceeding funds for Rabbit Park development. The consensus of the Commission is to review the park in Windsorwood Addition at their next meeting. ADJOURN The consensus of the Commission was to adjourn the meeting.
