PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a continuance of their May 7, <br />1991 regular meeting on Thursday, May 9, 1991 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br />Mr. Bradley Thomd <br />Mr. Mike Terry <br />Mr. David Bawden <br /> <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission back to <br />order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case g7: Request For Preliminary Plat Approval Of Northfork Point; Case Of <br /> North Fork, Inc.: <br /> <br />Sylvia Frolik stated that North Fork, Inc. is requesting preliminary plat approval of Northfork <br />Point Addition. The plat consists of 60 acres proposed to be subdivided into one outlot and 20 <br />single family rural residential lots averaging 1.9 acres each. Outlot A is proposed to be conveyed <br />to the Homeowners Association. In accordance with the Northfork Park Dedication Agreement, <br />them is no park dedication due on this plat. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski proceeded to review his report dated May 2, 1991 with the Commission. <br /> <br />Dennis Peck, Project Manager for Northfork, was present and stated that the developers are <br />requesting approval to rename what is supposed to be Yak Street (according to the City's grid map) <br />to a name consistent with scottish golf traditions and also to decrease the paved portion of the road <br />from 31 feet to 29 feet to promote the country lane effect and preserve existing trees. Mr. Peck <br />noted that the plat may be impacted by a protected wetland and will be forwarded to DNR for <br />review. <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Commission/May 9, 1991 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
