Subd. 5 - Advertising Signs - add item (h) - Any illumination, if any, is achieved through shielded <br />illumination, shielded silhouette lighting, or shielded spot lighting but not any lighting where the <br />light source is visible or exposed on the face or sides of the characters. <br /> <br />9.12.09 - Industrial and Business Warehouse Type Districts - b) Ground Signs - amend to read "A <br />ground sign shall not project higher than 25 feet..." <br /> <br />9.12.10 - Office and Industrial Park Signs - The Planning and Zoning Commission directed Ms. <br />Frolik to have this portion of the ordinance reviewed by the Economic Development Commission <br />for their input. <br /> <br />9.12.13 Sign Installers License - The Planning and Zoning Commission directed Ms. Frolik to <br />check with other cities to see if they require a sign installers license. <br /> <br />9.12.14 - Non-Conforming Signs - Subd. 1 should be amended to read: "Any permanent signs <br />lawfully existing . . ." and "If any property use or business changes ownership, all non- <br />conforming signs on that property shall be brought into conformity with this ordinance within 12 <br />months. (Commissioner Terry voted no on the change to 12 months.) <br /> <br />Subd. 2 should be amended to read: "Any permanent signs unlawfully existing at the time of <br />adoption of this chapter shall be considered illegal non-conforming and shall be brought into <br />conformity with the Ordinance with 12 months. (Commissioner Terry voted on on the change to <br />12 months). <br /> <br />Add Subd. 3: A non-conforming temporary sign shall be removed within 30 days of the adoption <br />of the ordinance. <br /> <br />Case #10: Status of Conditional Use Permits in Surrounding Communities <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik presented the number of conditional use permits that have been issued in the City of. <br />Ramsey and those that are currently active. She also included the conditional use permit status of <br />the surrounding cities. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners LaDue, Bawden, Deemer <br />and Terry. Voting No: None.
