At the public hearing there were four specific <br />areas discussed with respect to the proposed zoning. <br /> <br />She indicated the first was the Rivlyn Street neighborhood south of Highway 10. She advised the <br />City has received a petition from the residents of that neighborhood asking for the zoning to be <br />reversed, and the City Council has asked staff to take no action until it can be discussed at a work <br />session. <br /> <br />The second was the Holasek/Hamilton property west of Comfort Suites and south of Pdverdale. <br />She stated staff has received two letters on this property requesting the same consideration as the <br />Rivlyn neighborhood, so they would request no action be taken on this as well. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik advised the third area was the commercial property <br />east and west of the intersection at Alpine Drive NW and Highway 10 NW. The Planning <br />Commission and City Staff agreed that the commercial district on the north side of Highway 10, <br />at the intersection of Alpine, should be zoned like the rest of the highway corridor.
