Section 3 RUNNING AT LARGE PROHIBITED It shall be unlawful for any person who owns, harbors or keeps a dog or the parents or guardians of any such person under 21 years of age, to allow such dog to run at large. Section 4 Dogs on a leash accompanied by a responsible person or accompanied by and under the control and direction of a responsible person so as to be effectively restrained by command as by leash shall be permitted in streets or on public land unless the Township has posted an area with signs reading "Dogs Prohibited." Section 5 LICENSE REQUIRED All dogs, kept, harbored or maintained by their owners in the Township of Ramsey shall be licensed and registered if over 6 months of age. Dog licenses shall be is.sued by the Township Clerk upon payment of a license fee of $3 o00 for each male or spayed female, and $5.00 for each unspayed female. License fees shall not be prorated. The owner shall state at the time application is made for such license and upon forms provided for such purpose his name and address, and the name, breed, color and sex of each dog owned or kept by him. Every application for a license shall be accompanied by a certificate from a licensed veterinarian, showing that the dog to be licensed has been vaccinated with a live modified vaccine against rabies and that existing vaccination shall not expire within tmvelve (12) months of the date forwhtch license takes effect and a current continuous vaccination must exist for the endurance of the license period. The license shall expire two (2) years from date of issuance.
