Section 13 <br /> <br /> No person shall keep or suffer to be kept on his premises, or on premises <br />occupied by him nor permit nor suffer to run at large in said township, any dog or <br />animal of a dog kind which is diseased, so as to be a danger to the health and <br />safety of said township, even though said dog or animal of a dog kind be properly <br />licensed under this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Any dog or animal of a dog kind reasonably suspected of such disease may <br />be apprehended and confined in the dog pound by any person or officer, appointed <br />to enforce this ordinance. The officer, appointed to enforce this ordinance, shall <br />have a qualified veterinarian examine said dog or animal of a dog kind. If found to <br />be diseased fn such a'manner to be a danger to the health and safety of said town- <br />ship, the officer, appointed to enforce this ordinance shall cause such dog or animal <br />of a dog kind to be killed and shall properly dispose of the remains. The owner or <br />keeper of said dog or animal of a dog kind killed under this section shall be liable <br />for a Five (,55.00) Dollar fine to cover the cost of disposing of the dog or animal of <br />a dog kind and three ($3.00) Dollars a day maintenance charge and the costs of any <br />veterinarian examinations. <br /> <br /> If said dog or animal of a dog kind upon examination ts not found to be <br />disea.~ed within the meaning of this section then said dog or animal of a dog kind <br />shall be released to the owner or keeper free of any charge. <br />Section ].4 <br /> <br /> Whenever' any dog or animal of a dog kind within the township shall have <br />bitten any person or persons, the officer, appointed to enforce this ordinance, <br />she_~].l qu~'~r~tntine said dog or animal of a dog kind in the dog pound for a period of <br /> <br /> <br />
