ORDINANCE NO. 7 <br /> <br /> TOWNSHIP OF RAMSEY <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> AMENDMENT TO SECTION 5 OF THE ORDINANCE <br /> PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING OF DOGS AND <br /> REGULATING THE KEEPING OF DOGS AND CATS <br /> <br /> DOG CONTROL <br /> <br />The Town Board of the Township of Ramsey, Minnesota ordains: <br />Section 5 is hereby amended to provide as follows: <br />Section 5 LICENSE REQUIRED <br /> <br /> All dogs, kept, harbored, or maintained by their owners in the Town- <br />ship of Ramsey shall be licensed and registered if over 6 months of age. <br /> <br />Dog licenses shall be issued by the Township Clerk upon payment of a license <br />fee of $3.00 for each male or spayed female, and $5.00 for eachunspayed <br />female. License fees shall not be prorated. The owner shall state at the <br />time application is made for such license and upon forms provided for such <br />purpose his name and address, and the name, breed, color and sex of each <br />dog owned or kept by him. Every application for a license shall be accompanied <br />by a certificate from a licensed veterinarian, showing that the dog to be licensed <br />has been vacinated by live modified vacine within the past 24 months prior <br />to the date of application. Every application for a license for a spayed female <br />dog shall be accompanied with a statement from a licensed veterinarian indicating <br />that the dog has been spayed and giving the date of the operation. The license <br />shall expire on the 31st day of May in each odd numbered year. A license <br />shall not be required for dogs less than 6 months of age. <br /> <br /> <br />
