' <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. PURPOSES <br /> <br /> The T~vm Board has determined that the Town's <br /> present Zoning Plan and Amendments originally <br /> adopted by the Town Board On AAarch 30, 1951 is <br /> inadequate tO provlde f0r orderly development, protect <br /> public and private property end to promote fha health, , . <br /> safety, order and convenience and the general welfare <br /> of the Township residents. In order to attain the'above ~' · ' ~.' <br /> goals the Town ~oard has authorized a <br /> "Comprehensive Municipal Plan," pursuant tq M.S.A/J :I .. ~r' r <br /> This "Comprehensive AAunicip&l: Plan'' sh~ll <br />completed within eight (8) months of'fhe effectlv~ dank <br />of this ordinance. The purpose of this imterim zonthg <br />ordinance shall be to provide for the' orderly <br />development of the community during the pendency of <br />the "Comprehensive Municipal plar~," <br /> SECTION 3. DEFINITION <br /> AGRICLCLTURAL~LANDS -- This term shall be <br />defined as all crop 'ai~d fr~e farming~ truck gardening, <br />nurseries and green h'ouses, live· stock farming, <br />commercial poultry and any other agricultural type <br />endeavor'as may be determined bythe Town BOard. <br /> <br /> SETION 4. 'REPEAL r <br /> <br /> · sections 3 and 4-]0 of the Ramsay Township Zoni <br /> and Buil~Jing Code originally adopted March 30, 1~ <br /> are'hereby repealed~ <br /> <br /> SE~CTION 5,.' ZONE CLASSIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> All' lahds within =the Township shall be zOned <br />agricultural.and determined to, be located in .a non- <br />developmental use district. EXCEPTION: This section <br />5 sl~all'not apply and have no' effect.on the Present <br />commercial ~nd industrial zone classrflcations AND <br />this secti0h shall also NOT apply to any property for <br />which th~ ~planning commission has accepted end <br />reviewed <~ preliminary plat prior to October 17, 1972, <br />OR for'a fFact of land consisting of more than five iS) <br />acres and'having a width greater than 300 feet. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br /> <br /> For any use which is not in conformity with that of <br />agricultut~al, application for a special use permit for <br />such a t~on-conform lng use may be made as prescribed <br />by Sections 2-44 and 2-45 of the Ramsey ToW~shlp <br />Zoning Plan and Building Code originally adopted <br />March 30, 1951. <br /> <br />SECTION 7.
