Presentation <br /> <br />Consultant Loren Gordon of Hoisington and Koegler Group reviewed the proposed changes to <br />the Performance Standards, Sign, Soils and Solid Waste Ordinances. <br /> <br />Commissioner Reeves asked if these were the changes they went through at the last meeting. <br /> <br />Consultant Gordon indicated they were the same changes. He stated this was tabled at the last <br />meeting, but were reviewed in more detail in May. He indicated he has not received a lot of <br />questions on the changes. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt opened the continued public hearing at 8:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to close the public hearing at <br />8:21 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Brauer, Johnson, Reeves, <br />Shepherd, Van Scoy and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy indicated based on the earlier case, it appears the Home Occupation <br />portion will change. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated when a revision is made to the Home Occupation section they will <br />repeal and replace it. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Reeves to recommend that the <br />City Council adopt ordinances to amend Sections 9.11 Performance Standards, 9.12 Signs, 9.13 <br />Soils, and 9.14 Solid Waste of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Reeves, Brauer, <br />Shepherd, Van Scoy and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #5 <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Approval of U-Do It Self Service Car Wash; Case of <br />Felco Properties <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler explained that Felco Properties is proposing to redevelop the property <br />located at the northeast corner of the intersection of TH 47 and 142na Avenue NW. BP Amoco is <br />the current owner of the vacant gas station on the site; Felco Properties is proposing to redevelop <br />the property as a self-service car wash. She advised the property is zoned B-l; self-service car <br />washes are a permitted use in this district.
