Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />APPROVE A REORGANIZATION OF THE ENGINEERING DIVISION <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Director recently conducted a review of the <br />Engineering Division's priorities, needs and options for effectively utilizing existing <br />resources; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the Public Works Director's review, a reorganization <br />of the Engineering Division was recommended; and <br />WHEREAS, the reorganization consists of promoting the Assistant City Engineer <br />to City Engineer and reclassifying the City Engineer to Assistant City Engineer. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to promote the Assistant City Engineer Tim Himmer to City <br />Engineer and reclassify the City Engineer Steve Jankowski to Assistant City <br />Engineer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 14 day of April, 2009. <br />
