At least 30 days prior to beginning <br />7.s the rulemaking, the commissioner shall <br />7.9 notify local units of government within the <br />7.io Mississippi River corridor critical area the <br />~. i i intent to adopt rules. The local units of <br />7.12 government shall make reasonable efforts <br />7.13 to notify owners of property within the <br />7.14 Mississippi River corridor critical area <br />7.1s the proposed schedule for rulemaking, <br />7.16 opportunities for public comment, and <br />7.17 contact information for the appropriate <br />7.1s department staff. The commissioner shall <br />7.19 maintain a listserv of interested parties <br />7.2o to provide timely information about <br />7.21 the_ proposed schedule for rulemaking, <br />7.22 importunities for public comment, and <br />7.23 contact information for the appropriate <br />7.24 department staff. <br />7.2s (h) $1,875,000 the second year is <br />7.26 to investigate physical and recharge <br />7.27 characteristics aspart of the collection <br />7.2s and interpretation of subsurface geological <br />7.29 information and acceleration of the county <br />7.3o geologic atlas program.
