DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. <br />$ 1,250,000 $ <br />2,500,000 <br />11.10 (a) $805,000 in fiscal year 2010 and <br />11.11 $1,610,000 in fiscal year 2012 are for <br />11.12 protection of drinking water sources, <br />11.13 including assisting 30 or more communities <br />11.14 in fiscal year 2010 and 60 or more <br />11.1s communities in fiscal year 2011 with <br />11.16 the development and implementation of <br />11.17 community source water protection plans <br />11.1s before new community wells are installed, <br />11.19 and awarding ten or more communities in <br />11.2o fiscal year 2010 and 20 or more communities <br />11.21 in fiscal year 2011 with source water <br />11.22 protection implementation grants. <br />11.23 (b) $445,000 in fiscal year 2010 and $890,000 <br />11.24 in fiscal year 2011 are for addressing public <br />11.2s health concerns related to contaminants <br />11.26 found in Minnesota drinking water for which <br />1127 no health-based drinking water standard <br />11.2s exists. The commissioner shall characterize <br />11.29 and issue health-based guidance for three or <br />11.3o more additional unregulated drinking water <br />11.31 contaminants in fiscal year 2010, and seven <br />11.32 or more additional unregulated drinking <br />11.33 water contaminants in fiscal year 2011. <br />11.34 Sec. 8.
