04/06/09 09:12 PM HOUSE RESEARCH JT/JV H1973DE1 <br />1s.1 waters, developing total maximum daily loads, implementing restoration plans for <br />1s.2 impaired waters, and evaluating the effectiveness of restoration; <br />1s.3 (2) supporting additional measures to prevent surface waters from becoming <br />15.4 impaired and to improve the quality of waters that are listed as impaired, but do not have <br />15.s an approved total maximum daily load addressing the impairment; <br />1s.6 (3) providing additional grants and loans for wastewater and storm water treatment <br />1s.7 projects through the Public Facilities Authority; <br />1s.s (4) supporting additional measures to prevent the degradation of groundwater in <br />1s.9 accordance with the groundwater degradation prevention goal under Minnesota Statutes, <br />1 s. to section 103H.001; and <br />1s.11 (5) providing additional funds to state agencies to carry out their responsibilities, <br />15.12 including enhanced compliance and enforcement, under this chapter. <br />1s.13 (b) Funds from the clean water fund must supplement traditional sources of funding <br />1s.la for these purposes and may not be used as a substitute. <br />1 s.1 s Sec. 13. f 116.2011 COAL TAR. <br />1 s.16 A state agency may not purchase undiluted coal tar sealant. For the purposes of this <br />15.17 section, "undiluted coal tar sealant" means a sealant material containing coal tar that <br />15.18 has not been mixed with asphalt and is for use on asphalt surfaces, including driveways <br />1s.19 and parking lots. <br />ls2o EFFECTIVE DATE.
