CHAPTER 9, SECTION 9.20 TITLED "ZONING DISTRICTS" <br />OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA . . <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />SubSection 9.16 of the City Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />9.16.01 <br /> <br />Deimitions <br /> <br />Emergency Landing - An unplanned and unanticipated landing of an aircraft <br />made to prevent personal injury or loss of life. <br /> <br />Helicopter- An aircraft supported in the air by rotors. <br /> <br />Heliport - An area ofland that is used or intended to be used for the landing and <br />takeoff ofhelicopt~rs,and includes its buildings and facilities. <br /> <br />Operator - Pilot of aircraft. <br /> <br />Personal Use Heliport - Restricted to use by one person. <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />Private Use Heliport - For use by multiple persons at the invitation of the owner <br />(ail example would be a heliport at a hospital). <br /> <br />Public Use Heliport - Unrestricted and open to the public. <br /> <br />9.16.02 . General Rule. The use of any lot or outlot within the City for helicopter take- <br />offs or landings, either on a regular, temporary or occasional basis, shall require a Conditional <br />Use Permit (permit). Said Permit shall be processed and enforced in accordance with Ramsey <br /> <br />21 <br />
