Voting No: None. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION: LOGIS ofgGov, a New Public Web-Mapping Application for <br />Property Data <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill introduced Ben Verbek of LOGIS. <br /> <br />Mr. Verbek reviewed the public web-mapping applications for property data that is available. <br />He stated that the development of this took about 18 months and reviewed some of the features <br />and tools and how they can be used. <br /> <br />There was discussion about public information and privacy concerns. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill noted that this is a flexible program and the City can decide how <br />much detail it shows in the subsets. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Receive Petition Rejecting Improvement Project #09-11 Bituminous Overlay <br />of a Portion of a Barthels Rum acres 2nd Addition <br /> <br />City Engineer Himmer reviewed the staff report and noted that eleven signatures on the petition <br />have been validated. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey to accept the petition <br />rejecting Improvement Project #09-11 Bituminous Overlay ofa Portion of a Barthels Rum acres <br />2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Dehen stated that this was a project that the City felt was <br />needed and noted that he thinks the residents rejected the proposal before the project information <br />was even sent out. He stated that he thinks the City needs to be transparent as to after what time <br />period it would no longer participate financially. Mayor Ramsey asked if anyone present wanted <br />to withdraw their name from the petition. There was no one that wanted to withdraw. City <br />Attorney Goodrich noted that the project cannot be brought forward again for a period of one <br />year from the public hearing. Councilmember Dehen stated that this situation is why he feels <br />the City should move away from the assessment process. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
