Anpointmt!nt Of Pt!r.on Ifo Pin Airport COIIlIQiuion V.~.n~y <br />(CoDtiDU~d) ! <br /> <br />Motion by Commil.ioner Stauffer and .econded by Commi'lioner Greenberg to <br />recommend City Council reappoint Mr. Dave Chapman and Mr. Dennis Donovan to <br />the Airport Commission; that City Council appoint Mr. Richard Emery to the <br />Airport Commi..ion to fill out the unexpired term of Mr. Steve Larsen; tbat <br />City Council appoint Mr. Virgil Barne. to the Airport Commission to fill <br />the vacancy created by Mr. John Seibert'. resignation effective upon term <br />expiration date, December 31, 1986. <br /> <br />Further Discuslion: Commissioner Donovan .tated that a couple of years <br />ago, Mr. Barnes' appointment to the Commission may have been a .ensitive <br />issue but at this point, Mr. Barnes' expertise will be helpful to the <br />Commission. Commissioner Erickson inquired if there could be a conflict of <br />interest when this Commission considers FBO's. Chairman Ippel stated that <br />Mr. Barnes bas responded to tbis concern by .aying be will abstain from <br />voting on airport management issues. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Ippel, Commissioners Donovan, <br />Greenberg. Stauffer, Larsen and Erickson. Voting Bo: None.
