Subject: Editorial
Date: Tue, 31 Mar 2009 11:28:54 -0500
From: Matt Look <Iooksigns@gmail.com>
To: joe@mcdilda.com

Joe:

Your em ail forwarding of Mr. Sibilski's Letter to the editor, is more than likely going to have a
negative effect on what you are trying to get accomplished, fhat being the preservation of the
wetland buffering ordinance.
For your information, right-of-way is purchased, which is the same argument that Mayor
Ramsey is advocating for. If sound science calls for wetland buffers, then the city needs to
acquire that land, in lieu of ordinancing the land out from under people.
On a board preservation note, this board was formed out of special interest. For Mr. Sibilski to
make the accusation that Mayor Ramsey is responding only to special interest is laughable.
On a disrespectful note, I have never experienced disrespect from any other board than this
one. Mr. Sibilski finds it acceptable to speak poorly of our current Mayor as he found it
necessary to address me disrespectfully during the Natural Resource inventory vote.
All boards/commissions serve at the "pleasure" of the council. They provide an advisory role
only so long as necessary. The EDA have statutory protection....the Environmental Policy Board
does not.
Use Caution

Matt Look
Look Signs Inc.
612.558.9111
