Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption; C ~, 3 <br />RESOLUTION #09-OS-XXX <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS- AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND .AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #09-03 SEALCOAT AND CRACK GREENLAND .HILLS & <br />PINEVIEW ESTATES <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 12, 2009, a <br />feasibility study for the 2009 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, <br />City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #09-03 Sealcoat and Crackfill of the streets in <br />Greenland Hills & Pineview Estates and, <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted a resolution on February 10, 2009, fixing a <br />date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement. <br />WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />given, and the hearing was held on March 13th, 2009, at which time all persons desiring to be heard <br />were given an opportunity to. be heard thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has waited the required sixty (60) days following. the public hearing. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed on May 12, 2009. <br />2) City Engineer Steve Jankowski is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He <br />shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. <br />3) The .City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an <br />advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such plans and <br />specif cations. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the. <br />12th day of May, 2009. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION #09-05-XXX <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />_79_ <br />
