~-~~ <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #09-OS-XXX <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS .FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #09-04 SEALCOAT AND CRACK FILL HALLAND ACRES <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 12, 2009, a <br />feasibility study for the 2009 Street Maintenance Program -has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, <br />City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #09-04 Sealcoat and Crackfill of the streets in <br />HaIland Acres; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted a resolution on February 10, 2009, fixing a <br />date .for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement. <br />WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />given, and the hearing was held on March 13th, 2009, at which time all persons desiring. to be heard <br />were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has waited the required sixty (60) days following the public hearing. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed on May 12, 2009. <br />2) City Engineer Steve Jankowski is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He <br />shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. <br />3) The City Clerk shall prepare and .cause to be inserted in the official paper an <br />advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such plans and <br />specifications. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing xesolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City,Council this the <br />12th day of May, 2009. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION #09-OS-x:XX <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />_81_ <br />
