He stated that they would be willing to <br />handle either the civil, prosecution or both portions of the contract. . <br /> <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Patrick Sweeney, SWEENEY, BORER & SWEENEY, P.A., St. Paul, MN <br /> <br />Pat Sweeney introduced himself. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich asked seven interview questions. <br /> <br />Mr. Sweeney stated that their law firm has been doing municipal work since the 1970's and he <br />would be the primary civil attorney. He noted that he has had 19 years experience. He stated <br />that he and Joe Murphy would handle the prosecution side. He noted that Mr. Murphy has 7 <br />years of experience. He stated that their firm is open to handling both civil and prosecution or <br />either. <br /> <br />6:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Scott Baumgartner, HA WKINS & BAUMGARTNER, P.A., Anoka, MN <br /> <br />Scott Baumgartner introduced himself. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich asked seven interview questions. <br /> <br />Mr. Baumgartner stated that he would be the main contact for the City and noted that <br />background information for himself and his backup was included in the proposal. He noted that <br />he would consider handling both the civil and prosecution or either with the contract. He <br />distributed information from their database on criminal cases that his firm has opened and how <br />this data can be broken down. <br /> <br />2) Complaint from Mr. Bob Sibilski <br /> <br />Staff members: Associate Planner Timothy Gladhill, Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed <br />Kone and City Attorney William Goodrich joined the meeting <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Kone reviewed the staff report. She noted that a copy of the <br />complaint as well as the e-mail Councilmember Look sent to Mr. McDilda was included in the <br />packet. She noted that she had just distributed another e-mail submitted by Mr. Sibilski, that <br />Councilmember Look sent to Associate Planner Gladhill. <br /> <br />Mr. Sibilski stated that he would like to add this e-mail to his complaint. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that this complaint is against an elected official and wonders if this <br />is the correct forum for this. He asked if the Council can do anything in this situation. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that because Councilmembers are elected, there is very little that <br />can be done.
