Voting Yes: Chairperson Riley, Members Letourneau, Look, Skaff and Steffen. <br />Voting No: None, Absent: Member Elvig <br /> <br />EDA BUSINESS <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan asked if Case # 2 could be presented before <br />Case # 1. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />EDAM SUMMER CONFERENCE <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan presented Case # 2. <br /> <br />Last year EDA sent Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan to the <br />EDAM Summer Conference at Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge. <br /> <br />There was a discussion to see if anyone else would be interested in attending the conference. No <br />other members were able to attend the Conference. <br /> <br />A motion by Chairperson Riley seconded by Member Letourneau, to send Economic <br />Development Coordinator Sullivan to the EDAM Conference June 18-20. Voting No: None, Absent: Member Elvig <br /> <br />CASE # 4 <br /> <br />CONSIDER UTILIZATION OF REVOLVING LOAN FUND FOR <br />STUDIO ONE DANCE <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan presented case #4 <br /> <br />Studio Dance One requested that the EDA to consider access to the Revolving Loan Fund to <br />assist in the purchase of a building in Ramsey. The current policy states that retail businesses are <br />not eligible under the Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) Guidelines. <br /> <br />After discussion the EDA decided that this type of project would be eligible to apply for <br />utilization of the RLF. <br /> <br />Economic Development Authority/April 24th, 2009 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
