<br />Further Discussion: It was noted that the there had not been a motion authorizing the City to <br />enter into an agreement with Great River Greening. <br /> <br />Motion and second withdrawn by Mayor Ramsey and Counci1member Look as the motions were <br />taken out of order. <br /> <br />Motion by Counci1member E1vig, seconded by Counci1member Dehen to authorize staff to enter <br />into a contract with Great River Greening, and into an agreement with Anoka County Parks and <br />the Anoka Conservation District for improvements to the City of Ramsey sedimentation basin <br />and County park land along the Mississippi River AND to make an amendment to the language <br />in the contract with Great River Greening on page 5, IV, adding the statement that Greening will <br />indemnify the City of Ramsey and hold it harmless from and against any loss, claims, liabilities, <br />damages and costs, including reasonable attorney's fees, related to the Project of the <br />performance of their services pursuant to this Agreement, unless caused by the negligence of the <br />City of Ramsey, its agents or employees; and that the City by named as an additional insured <br />party. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Counci1members E1vig, Dehen, Jeffrey, Look, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MaYQr Ramsey recessed the Council Meeting at 8:30 p.m., and reconvened at 8:36 <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Approve Resolution to Apply for Funds to Construct the Northstar Ramsey <br />Rail Station <br /> <br />Public Works Supervisors Olson reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Counci1member Dehen returned to the Council Chambers at 8:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Counci1member E1vig, to approve Resolution #09-06- <br />121, supporting the application for the CMAQ grant to construct the Northstar Ramsey Rail <br />Station. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember McGlone asked about some of the costs for the p1antings, <br />which seem high to him. Public Works Director Olson stated that the costs were put together by <br />Kim1ey Horn who is working on the other Northstar Rail Stations. Councilmember E1vig stated <br />that he believes there is also so.me mandatory artwork that is required at these stations. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
