<br />Mayor Ramsey stated that he feels the snowmobile and A TV discussion needs to happen within <br />the next few months because there is a timing issue with the upcoming season. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that he would like to discuss the off-street parking issue. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that he would like to talk about the Rerouting of Highway 47. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that there needs to be cooperation between Ramsey and Anoka on <br />the Highway 47 issue. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey stated that he thinks that Ramsey could take the lead on the Highway 47, because <br />someone needs to step forward and do it. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that there has been talk of a joint meeting between Ramsey and <br />Anoka to discuss this and other issues. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig suggested that the Council meet prior to the joint meeting to discuss this <br />topic. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey suggested that there be an update in the Ramsey Resident about the <br />Whistle Free zone for the train and noted that he has been getting questions from residents. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey suggested that, instead of bringing non-controversial items to Work Sessions and <br />taking up time, they be put on a regular Council Meeting agenda. He stated that he is thinking of <br />items brought forth by staffthat are somewhat "no-brainers". <br /> <br />Councilmember McGlone stated that he thinks it would be better to have discussions ahead of <br />the Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey stated that he thinks if common sense is used, staff will know the things that <br />won't be controversial and could simply put those items on the regular Council Meeting agenda. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig suggested that the marquee signage topic be brought to EDA. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey stated that he would like staff to pick out some of the issues that they <br />think would be non-controversial.
