<br />CONSIDER A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING <br />THE RESIGNATION OF A PARKS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br />PC 3 <br /> <br />By: Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />On June 23, 2009, Parks Maintenance Worker Todd Marlette submitted a letter of resignation. <br />Mr. Marlette's last day of employment with the city will be July 17,2009. <br /> <br />In 2008, the City Council adopted a list of evaluation criteria for vacant and new positions to <br />determine whether duties can be modified, eliminated or reassigned to other staff members. This <br />evaluation will be conducted during the coming week and staff will make a recommendation to <br />the City Council regarding whether and how to fill the position left vacant by Mr. Marlette. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council accept the resignation of Todd Marlette.
