His review consisted of the golf <br />course area, City Ditch 66, Ditch 43, East, West and Central Mississippi and Trott Brook. He <br />discussed the stormwater model. Highlands at River Park. A review of the 10 year rainfall data <br />from 1997 - 2006. The detailed rainfi:111levels and a profile of the pond levels. <br /> <br />No Action taken. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Discuss Scope of Dysprosium - Flintw()od Safety Improvements <br /> <br />Vice Chair Dehen asked is there a reason why Utking that road from 45 1't to 38ft, there would be <br />no rationale for having a sidewalk on both sides of that mad. <br /> <br />Public Works Director/Principal City E11gineer Olson responded th!:tt you could have sidewalks <br />on both sides. He recommends it being a better jester of good faith by the Council to only put a <br />sidewalk on one side of the road. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey asked which side is the sidewalk going. <br /> <br />Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Olson responded it would be on the west side. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGlone asked how wide. <br /> <br />Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Olson responded 5 feet, unless directed <br />otherwise. " <br /> <br />Councilmember McGlone recommends a 6 foot sidewalk. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey is in favor of a concrete sidewalk. <br /> <br />Staff is asking what type of improvements the Committee \-vould like to have on Argon and'143rd <br />A venue. A number of things have been suggested including a sidewalk, adding street lights, <br />replacing speed tables. . <br /> <br />Vice Chair Dehen wanted to clarify the speed tables are not speed bumps, and that speed wasn't <br />really the problem it was more of a. cut through problem.
