<br />equipment from time to time for the purpose of determining that it is in <br />satIsfactory conformance with the terms and conditions: of the Contract. <br /> <br />2. Trained Personnel: Contractor employees shall be supervised by <br />personnel qualified to.perform the work requir~d by the Contract in order. <br />to proVide immediate and prompt service a's ordered and requested by the <br />City. The Contractor shall assume any and all responsibility for the <br />conduct of its employees. The Contractor guarantees that 'all of the <br />employees p~rforming under this contract will be adequately trained in <br />their professi.on. will respond promptly to all call~. will provide safe and <br />adequate equipment (as herein specified). be clean and 'neat in . <br />appearance, use language free. of profanity. and treat members of the <br />public courteously at all times. . . <br /> <br />3. Subcontractors: Where two or more Contractors ~esire to submit a single <br />proposal, the submission should be on a contractorlsub-contractor basis' <br />rather than as a joint venture. For this engagement. the City intends to . <br />contract with an individual contractor and not with multiple contractors <br />doing .business as a joint venture. If a sub-contraclor is to be used. that <br />fact must be disclosed in the proposal, together with the name of each <br />sub-contractor and its duties in relation to the scope of .work. The sub- . <br />contractor shall be subject to the same contract requirements' as the <br />Contractor. <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />. loss or Damage to Abated Property: The Contractor will ~e solely <br />.responsible for loss.or damage to the personal property reQ10ved from the <br />site (the "Abated PT9pertyj from the time direction is given by the City <br />turning .the Abated Property over to the Contractor alid until such time as' <br />the Abated Property is legally released to its owner or otherwise disposed <br />of 'at the direction of the City. The site of the abate:ment will be returned to <br />its original condition or grade by the Contractor. The cost of any site <br />grading to bring the site to its original condition will be reimb.ursed to the <br />Contractor at the rate prOVided on attached Sheet A.. . <br /> <br />Recordkeeping:' The Contractor shall maintain' proper records of all Abated. <br />. property reCeived. The record keeping system. shall meet the approval of <br />the Ramsey Chief of Police and .record's are to be available, at all. tirrses for <br />Inspection by authorized City officials. All contents of sucti reports shall <br />meet the approval of the Ramsey Chief of Police. (Detailed inventory list. <br />to be supmitted with invoice if applicable). <br /> <br />. . <br /> <br />Billing: The Contractor shall bill the City for all charges relating to <br />contracted abatemeAts. The Contractor may bill tne City for any pre- <br />abatement briefings as required: however. site in~pections .by the <br />Contra~or will be at no cost to the City. , . <br /> <br />'. Scheduling: Abatement~ will be scheduled within 14 days of notification of <br />. an abatement request by the City.
